Meet Our Staff

Donald J. Medeiros Insurance Agency was established in Fall River on Peckham Street back in 1997. Prior to opening the agency’s doors, Donald had been working in the insurance industry at another agency for five years. His ambition to work for himself comes from when he was young when his father, Donald Sr., had opened Flint TV back in the 60s. Young Donald worked for his dad from the time he was 10 years old, putting TV antennas on rooftops. He took over the business at the early age of 18. But as the TV and video retail became very competitive with the larger retailers, Donald decided to make a career change over to insurance sales. He started his agency from the ground up, working countless hours and endless weekends. However, his efforts have clearly paid off, making Donald J. Medeiros Insurance Agency the successful insurance agency as you see it today at 154 Rhode Island Avenue, Fall River, Massachusetts.

Donald now enjoys his weekends with his wife, Nicole, spending it out in the great outdoors. In the fall, you will find them hiking in the mountains and the winter, Cross-Country skiing and snowshoeing on the trails. Between them, they have 3 children, all of which are grown.

Nicole joined the Donald J. Medeiros Insurance Agency team full time back in 2012. She works keeping the agency’s network, computers & phone systems running smoothly, as well behind the scenes day-to-day operations, administration and policies.

Heather has been working in the Insurance business for 22 years. She previously worked for Donald J. Medeiros Insurance Agency from 2012 to 2019, and we’re so excited to have her back (as are many of her clients!).

While not at work Heather loves the ocean and just being on the water. In fact, recently she has begun learning how to scuba dive. Now every weekend she can spend time exploring beneath the surface of the ocean!

She was born and raised in eastern Long Island, which is where her affinity for the ocean began.

Carla Costa brings four years of experience in the insurance industry to our team, drawing on a diverse background that includes her time as a former phlebotomist. Born and raised in Fall River and a proud graduate of Durfee High School, Carla’s journey reflects a commitment to both professional growth and community. Her knowledge and dedication make her a valuable addition to our team.

Outside of work, Carla enjoys the quiet comforts of home, where she finds joy in relaxing and spending quality time with her two wonderful children. Her family is her proudest achievement, and she cherishes every moment spent with them. We are excited to have Carla on board and look forward to the positive impact she will make.

Caleb Arsenault is a graduate from the University of Rhode Island. He currently handles all of our social media channels. Despite using many forms of social media constantly he humbly asked to not be called an expert.

He was born in Rhode Island but currently lives with his partner in Fall River – in a house that could best be described as a menagerie. Pets include a dog, cats, lizards, a frog, a snake, many fish, and a tortoise. Outside of work you can find him reading a good book, camping in the mountains of New Hampshire, or spending the day lost in the woods.

Catarina was born in Sao Miguel, Azores Portugal and moved here with her parents when she was five years old. She is very proud of her Portuguese heritage and visits as often as possible. Her husband Joao is from the mainland Portugal, where they were married in a beautiful small vineyard. They enjoy traveling, whether it’s a weekend road trip or a long voyage. They like exploring new sceneries and learning about different cultures & heritages. Outside of work, she loves to cook, read, binge watch a good show, and shop. And of course, spending time with her beautiful daughter who is the pride and joy of their lives.

Quincy loves the daily challenges and learning new things in the insurance industry. She prides herself on working hard and helping our customers with their inquiries.

Quincy grew up in Fall River, but moved to Florida with her husband, Joey and their two little girls. Her favorite thing to do is spending time with her family whether it be going to Disney (their favorite place) or hanging around watching the Patriots on Sundays.

Sandy Pavao is one of our most enthusiastic Personal Lines Representatives. She has over twelve years of experience in the insurance sales business.

She was born and raised in Fall River. Outside of work she loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She loves going on vacations all around the world but she always finds herself visiting the Dominican Republic.

Jade Pavao began her career in the insurance industry after graduating high school when she joined Donald J. Medeiros Insurance Agency. Since then, she has built experience in personal lines insurance, helping clients find the right coverage for their homes, vehicles, and other personal needs while providing reliable and attentive service.

Jade takes pride in building strong relationships with clients and making the insurance process as simple and stress-free as possible. Her goal is to ensure that every customer feels confident and well protected with the coverage they choose.

Outside of the office, Jade is actively involved in her community. She serves as a board member for two local car clubs, where she helps organize community outreach initiatives and fundraising efforts that support local causes.

In her free time, Jade enjoys spending time with her two cats, Lilo and Stitch, who keep her entertained with their playful and mischievous personalities.

As an independent agency, we’re proud to have dedicated team members like Savannah Pavao, who bring enthusiasm and a spirit of discovery to everything they do. Savannah’s academic background from Bristol Community College and Salve Regina, paired with her community involvement in Fall River and love for exploring new cultures—especially in the Azores—shapes the way she approaches insurance solutions: always curious, attentive, and open-minded.

Richard’s goal is to work with you to insure your auto, home/tenants or all aspects of a business.

He was born in Terceira Azores, Portugal and he and his family had moved here to Fall River back in the 1970s. His dad, even though retired, is still a prominent figure in the community. This is where Richard met his wife, Linda and together they have a young daughter. One of his favorite pastimes is to just get in the car with the family and drive to anywhere, destination unknown. Because of this they are constantly finding new places to visit and different restaurants to enjoy. But he does say that his best road trip was the one he drove his family down to Florida and they visited Disney and Universal Studios.
